Melanie is from the Dulguarra and Waribarra clans and currently divides her time between her studio in Far North Queensland and being On Country. Her focus is on showcasing the native fauna of North QLD, combining her love of colour with her distinctive interpretation of Indigenous art design. Applying her art to a functional merchandise range has extended her talent to consumer markets throughout Australia and Internationally.
